Исследование проводится в городе Шелехове Иркутской области.
Географические координаты города Шелехов: широта долгота
Шелехов (Шелихов), в Иркутской области,
областного подчинения, в 20 км к юго-западу от Иркутска.
Расположен на юге Иркутско-Черемховской равнины, близ рек Иркут, Олха.
Железнодорожная станция (Гончарово) на Транссибирской магистрали.
Наш город имеет следующие координаты:Географическая широта - 52°12'; Географическая долгота - 104°06';
Высота над уровнем моря - 460м, а отклонение от московского времени - 5ч.
Территория 200 060 га. Из них лесной фонд 175 600 га.
