Just as I was getting confident in riding the whole mountain, I chose to accompany some expert skiers down a serious famous 007 related black run, in exactly what do only be referred to as perhaps not ideal conditions... after serious protests from myself, I finally decided to snow goggles and then find that these highly experienced twin plankers were side slipping down the mountain!!!

It is the weirdest thing when you can see other folks on the slopes perfectly but cannot see the slope itself... there were instances when I have genuinely thought I had come to a stop but hadn't, and then fell quite heavily, such could be the manner the human brain is fooled by such conditions. The outcome from these experiences for me personally has been to find a pair of snowboarding goggles that give you as much of an advantage in flat/low light conditions as possible.
